The Jackson Bunch, LLC wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.

Conformance status

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We consider it partially conformant: most of the site meets the standard, and we test for it automatically, but we have not had it audited by a third party and some content has not been manually reviewed against every criterion.

What we do

  • Every page uses semantic landmarks and a "skip to main content" link.
  • Everything is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text and interface colours are tested against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds on every build.
  • Animation is suppressed when your system requests reduced motion.
  • Every form field has a label; images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • The contact form works without JavaScript.
  • An automated accessibility check runs against every page on every build, and a failure blocks release.

Known limitations

  • The homepage hero places text over a photograph. We apply a dark overlay to keep the text readable, but contrast over an image cannot be verified automatically, so we check it by hand.
  • We have not carried out a full manual audit with assistive technology. If you hit something we have missed, we would like to know.
